Brian and Celia Wright, founded their first nutrition company ‘Green Farm’ in 1979. With degrees in Psychology, their first interest was in nutrition for psychological health. As pioneers of nutrition they had a wide influence on education and practice of nutritional principles. Later they undertook clinical trials with a full professional medical and pharmaceutical team, and this experience led them to achieve the highest standards in developing nutritional products in Higher Nature. Following the death of Celia in February 2009, the company continues with the same inspiration, principles and dedication to health. Higher Nature continues to gain recognition for outstanding quality, innovation, efficacy and integrity of its products, service and standards.
We’re a Family Company
Higher Nature started with 9 employees. Now we have more than 90, but we’re still one big family. We have a reputation for quality, integrity, innovation and excellent service; this is more important to us than profit. We aim to make a significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of our customers. We make regular donations of supplements to charities at home and abroad. National newspapers, magazines and TV programmes frequently ask to feature our products.

We also aim to affect attitudes about nutrition and health more widely.
University Research
Higher Nature is committed to research in the field and, in particular, to finding ingredients that give the best absorption and bio-availability. We have worked for several years with Prof. Neil Ward at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Surrey University. Prof. Ward has an established reputation as a leading researcher with a particular interest in nutritional minerals .
Quality Assurance
Higher Nature insists that all our manufacturers work to good manufacturing practice (GMP). Further quality assurance is carried out in-house and by independent test laboratories. When, very occasionally, a product batch does not meet our standards, we don’t sell it.
