An Introduction to Stool Testing
Lecturer: Jacquie Lane ND MBANT NTCC
Finding the cause of a health problem is a difficult task. Often very different conditions show identical or similar symptoms, causing time and money to be wasted on inappropriate therapies. This workshop will explore the fundamentals of stool testing and demonstrate how this cost effective technique can help eliminate the guesswork of diagnosis and improve therapy results. Key topics include:
- A review of the intestinal ecology and its role in digestive health
- Why test? - The advantages of stool testing
- What can be assessed and how to choose an appropriate test
- Stool testing case studies – A guide to analysis and protocol construction
