Agnus castus is also known as Vitex, Chaste Berry or Monk’s Pepper and is a large shrub native to the Mediterranean region of southern Europe. The plant produces small, aromatic white or lilac flowers in the height of summer and, after pollination, develops dark reddish-brown-to-black fruits about the size of peppercorns.
One tablet contains 4mg of Agnus castus fruit (Vitex agnus castus L.) extract.
