Today, St John’s Wort is used, especially during the long, dark winter months, to help keep the ‘winter blues’ at bay.
These easy-to-swallow, one-a-day tablets are traditionally used to lift your mood.
One tablet contains 425mg of St John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) extract (3.5-6:1), which is equivalent to 1490-2550mg of St John’s Wort aerial parts. This product contains hypericins, hyperforin and flavonoids, all of which are thought to contribute to the herb’s activity.
