My dog ruptured her cruciate ligament last summer - twice:( We've been giving her these tablets together with MSM powder and I'm convinced that both have helped enormously as she's now 9. The vet had warned that she'd need Metacam regularly and that she'd suffer from Arthritis but at a recent checkup she couldn't tell the difference between her injured back leg and the other one. The only downside is that our dog hates the taste and will only eat them if coated in some of our leftovers. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Coming to the end of the first pot of pills and reordering. There has been a clear improvement in my dogs' condition - from so stiff that she had trouble even getting up, to so happy with life that she even has the odd mad spin around the garden ( sadly resulting in a slight injury/relapse, but still much better than before). The vet is also happier with her condition and has no problems with using Glucosamine as a supplement. Would have given 5 stars but my dog will not eat the pills whole and they are a devil to break and crush into food.
