As part of our commitment to provide the best service to our customers, in addition to using SSL Encryption on all web transactions, Higher Nature now uses 3D security provided by the Verified by Visa® and MasterCard SecureCode® services for even more secure online payments.
What is 3D security?
3D security is the new standard developed by Visa and MasterCard designed to combat online credit card fraud. Cardholders who have registered for Verified by Visa® or MasterCard SecureCode® use their password to validate their identity whenever they make a purchase on a participating site.
What does this mean for me?
When you choose to pay for your order by credit or debit card, you may be asked to provide additional information to complete your order. If you sign up to either Verified by Visa® or MasterCard SecureCode®, you will choose a passwords as part of that enrolment and then be prompted to enter either your full password or just selected letters to confirm your online purchases.
Please note that you setup this password when you enrol to the service. It is not the security code on the reverse of your cardthat you enter when you pass through the checkout process. Also most importantly, it is not your card PIN Number. Higher Nature will never ask you to enter your PIN number.
If you have not signed up for 3D secure and your bank supports it, you will be asked if you would like to enrol. This is an optional but free service that contributes to safer online shopping.
