Calcium

Calcium is the body's most abundant mineral - around 99% is stored in bone and teeth. It works with phosphorus, magnesium and vitamin D in building and maintaining strong, healthy bones. Magnesium and vitamin D aid calcium absorption and use. It is involved in digesting fat and protein, making energy, blood clotting, transmitting nerve impulses, muscle contraction and relaxation and nutrient absorption, especially B12.
