Echinacea Cold & Flu Relief is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and influenza type infections, exclusively based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy.
The common cold and flu are infections of the upper respiratory tract and both are caused by viruses. Cold and flu viruses are constantly changing their structure, which is why we can catch them repeatedly. Supporting the immune system is, therefore, very important to fight against colds, flu and other infections.
Echinacea is a member of the daisy family and is commonly known as the purple coneflower. It was once a popular medicinal herb among the early American settlers, who learned about Echinacea from the indigenous American Indians. Today, Echinacea remains the medicinal herb of choice of adults and older children for warding off flu and cold symptoms. Keep a box handy in your medicine cabinet.
Each soft gelatine capsule contains 176mg Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench) dried juice (20-28:1) from the fresh pressed juice of the flowering aerial parts (equivalent to up to 4928mg Echinacea).
Not suitable if under 12 years, pregnant, breastfeeding, allergic to peanut or soya oil, taking immuno-suppressants, or have an auto-immune disease.
Always read the label.
You can also read the Patient Information Leaflet.
